There are some conditions for units:
1) their leader must be lower in rank than the player, who is always a lieutenant or higher.
2) must be on friendly side (not enemies)
3) they will not join, if you have 8 units already

Try in VR: put player group and some regular units then try.

FYI: At game start up, loading to the main menu I do receive the following error message:

Script Addon_PC\functions\fn_createPlatoonCompositionMenus.sqf not found. I'm assuming this may be an old file that you've renamed, but the old function is still mapped to the old file in the functions.cpp.

But upon observing the folder structure in the functions folder, this file does not exist. So far though, everything else is working fine.

For some reason when I press left tab, I get the squad menu but when I select any of my numbers it exits the menu and I can not select or deselect the squads anymore. It worked at first but now it does not?

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or by design - but in the previous version of Platoon Commander you could use the squad tactics menu on your own squad. Presently, it looks like it only allows you to select squads 2,3,4 when using the Squad Tactics menu. Would really love to see you be able to use this menu with your own squad as well. When pressing F1, it does not select squad one as anticipated.

Wasn't sure if this was a bug, since you could do this in the first iteration of Platoon Commander.

This is not a bug. Some functions for the player's group are in the main menu, which appears when you press the Backspace key.

Yes, there is no tactic for the player's group, because it needs a completely different concept.

I can't seem to be able to select the 'More' option in the Backspace menu

More can be selected using the mouse wheel

I can't seem to be able to select the 'More' option in the Backspace menu

You have to keep scrolling 'down' and it eventually lets you select it. or keep scrolling 'up'. You'll see it jump to 'move' tab. You just gotta keep scrolling like you go past it.

Not currently working on Dynamic Recon/Combat, units refuse to join the platoon regardless of rank or player squad size, outside of these specific scenarios it seems to work normally

I'm unable to have issued move-to commands be followed by my squads. Everything should be set up properly in the editor, and I have no mods which seem to obviously affect this. I'm going to disable everything but Platoon Commander and report back.
