Dynamic Music Config Idea
Ok, so, heres my idea and an example to go with it

Idea: a config that lets you pick MP3 files on your PC that play when a certain rank is reached. I feel like custom music selections would do a whole lot better than a list of pre-selected songs

Example: Take a semi-dynamic set of tracks (for this example, "You Will Know Our Names - Finale" from Xenoblade Chronicles 3) that are downloaded on your PC, you put them somewhere in a folder that the mod can read (this would probably be in the TML documents folder, IDK) and load the game.

When in game, you go to the mod config and you get a list of each rank from D to SSS, the plus sign next to each rank will let you choose a file, lets say that i choose B and use the beginning of the song ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SXPLssqSVs ) and save. I do the same for S rank with the Climax ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2icb6BL2ik ).

When in game, no music will play until B rank, the first song will continue to play until i hit S rank or fall below B rank, if i hit S rank, the Climax will play for S, SS, and SSS, and would revert to the first song if i hit A.

I'm not sure if this is feasible or even possible, but if it is, i would love to see this.

I'm working on a similar idea. Basically, the idea is that the player will be able to choose what music is played in the configuration. The plan is to have a preset for Devil Trigger, Subhuman, Crimson Cloud and Bury the light (the code is ready, but unfortunately I suck at editing the music). In addition, it will be possible to set Custom1 and Custom2 options that will have their own music (this can be customized using the rescource pack, the tutorial on how to do this will be available on the forums homepage that will be released once I complete everything).

Hi. It would be could if you added songs from older games, like the time has come, devils never cry, taste the blood, divine hate...
And you said you're bad at editing audio. I don't know if this will help, but there's a free open source program called "audacity" that makes editing audios easy.
