^^ been trying to tame even just a lil jagras and I've been getting my ass BEAT. The torpor decreases far too quickly (even with sleeping darts ow) and the health also regenerates pretty fast despite how hard you continue to beat them up lol. Searched around a lot and couldn't find a solution, aside from maybe adjusting my (singleplayer) settings?

I found a workaround for this. It's called "Immersive Taming". Forget trying to KO them. Just feed them bait a bunch of times and they'll tame themselves. :)

for monsters like zinogre, and glavenus basic bait doesn't seem to be working for me, do you need to use trophy bait for the higher monsters or is it just bugging?
