Upgrading items seems to default to your mod appliances (Ex. upgrading Dining Table to Butcher Block). Might want to turn down their rate if you can at all. It could've been just a very unfortunate run for me but I upgraded 4 Dining Tables into Butcher Blocks (out of 5 tables) and both of the Prep Stations upgraded into the Universal Prep Station (going for Frozen).

I have the same issue and i have a another mod that that cycles in order thru all upgrades (table>simple table cloth>fancy table cloth>metal table>starting table/ repeating) and once it hits this i can't continue to frozen i just have to roll for one that would be a nice change
