Having the same issue, hope it gets fixed. Unless the problem is because I don't have L4D2 installed on my PC due to low storage.

Hm. I have L4D2 installed and mounted, but this problem still occurs. Maybe i need mount fix, or, L4D instead of L4D2?

You mean i should set on max EVERYTHING in graphics options?

To fix it set Models to high in the video tab in the options Menu
