This looks to be an excellent mod packed with good content, and I'll be giving it a go on my next playthrough. I found this while checking something related to the mod in the title, though, and as I started to understand the scope, it got me wondering as to whether there's a military component to the royalty mechanics beyond the existence of/interactions with the deserters. I might have missed it if there is; I apologise if so. But if I haven't, it looks like Torann's Empire would actually work quite well with this as a means of natively expanding your settlement/vassal count, and providing the means to actually fight/capture settlements belonging to other factions.

So my question is: Are there known issues with Torann's Empire and VFE Empire? Or do they work fine together? I can imagine this, TE, and Torann's Rim War mod being an amazing mechanical expansion to Rimworld's royalty and interfaction mechanics for anyone looking for a proper territory control/RTS style overworld experience.
