It's called ''fear for your life'' rule in the role playing world. You want to rp as a viking they didn't fear death. Want the basic of rp look into gtav rp on twitch over 20k servers. This server is on borrowed time when new servers start popping up.

And not everyone has the same fight or flight responses. Some people run towards the fire not caring about their safety while others run. Doesn’t seem very fun if you have to constantly describe your character and blah blah blah simply so you don’t get banned over a rule that’s dumb af to begin with.

no one said there consequences but it's supposed to be medieval RP and people and towns were 100% sacked and destroyed for no reason other than the person doing so wanted to do it and people often banded together to take down the criminals or they'd go to their lord and ask for help. Both instances could be played out here instead of outright banning people. Or why not the modders build some kind of jail so people can actually be imprisoned. A lot of Gmod servers do this and i can tell you right now it works a lot more than banning someone.
