I just checked it out and it's all okay on my end, it might be either you have another pack on top of this one that changes them, or you're using an older version of this pack or an older version of Terraria.

I checked the files and it's in there, the gold chest shares the same sprite sheet as a lot of other chests like the normal chest, ice, living wood, shadow chests, and even the barrel. The dead man's chest is in another sprite sheet, so the most likely reason it's not appearing for you is that you have another pack enabled that resprites something in that sprite sheet the gold chest is in.
