this is how bullets work in half life and therefore Gmod
Unless you mean physics objects then it would probably be very laggy
why tho, there is literally no benefits from this. It would work ever worse than its now
the addon 'Solrob's grenades' has a shrapnel nade that shoots bullets in 360 degree pattern and it functions perfectly.

for fun!...also it does have it benefits.. Like Props being effected too and other cool stuff

no i meant bullets like the ones being shot by the player or npcs
here its just rays that hit the player/npcs and apply damage

bullets in gmod are raycasts which deal damage, force, etc and place bullet hole decals

thats what i want to be in this mod
from what i understand of the code is that it just rays being traced from a certain point... if it hits an npc.. it just applies damage... otherwise the ray will disappear.. what i want is that a fragmentation system that uses firebullet function so it can be like any other bullet shot by the player or the npcs
i dont know how to explain my idea but i hope i clarified it enough
it's the same thing though. Unless you're asking for decals
Gmod guns use raycasts to hit targets, and so does this

Ah, you're saying it doesn't use the actual shooting function and instead uses its own
tbh that is pretty stupid that it does that, it should use the normal boolet thing at least as an option.

while yes it performs better than the shooting function... but i want it to apply decals and particles and effects props
