Its not game breaking as it seems to randomly crash once every three month, but its nearly unplayable.

@onfe; Was this bug present in the original NGS mod or just mine? Also, are you playing with other mods too? You should try playing the game with only my mod and see if it does this again.

No idea I never used NGS before
Im pretty sure it comes from this mod since I did a playthrough with exactly the same modlist but without this one. I never had issues before

I play with mostly light UI mods and a few well used one (Expended Espionnage, Under Siege ect)

Btw I really like this mod and I'm having a great game with it, I hope the bug gets fixed eventually

If its of any help the bug started well into my game, a while after the fondation of the GALCOM. Sometimes it doesnt crash for a whole month and sometimes its every game day. I tried pushing through it but its very unpleasant

Did you observe that a specific event was causing the crash? Perhaps the proposal or passing/failing of a resolution? My mod can have incompatibilities with other mods, so it's best to try it out without any checksum modifying mods except mine. As a last testing option, you can use the original NGS mod and see if the same crash occurs, as this is likely an old problem from the original mod which this mod is based on. I'm guessing you're running linux as well, which makes identifying the bug harder for me because I'm on windows

Did my own research and I suspect "Expanded Espionage and Diplomacy" from being the source of the problem. It seems like the original NGS requires a compatibility patch, which I just downloaded. I'm going to check if it fixes the problem. Thanks a lot for suggesting to check original NGS and for your time anyway

If I may, you should probably mention that those two mods could conflict with each other

Alright, so it didn't fix the bug, but at least now I'm pretty sure this is the source of the problem.

Expanded Espionage and Diplomacy is in direct conflict with my mod, overwriting a lot of my mod's files. The compatibility patch for the original NGS mod does not work with my mod, and as it is a very big range of conflicts between my mod and the Expanded Espionage and Diplomacy mod, it would take me a lot of time and effort to make the compatibility patch.

the edict "we know our place" doesnt work quite right. the global edict bonus works, but the complex drone output bonus simply adds to the local bonus.

its not vanilla, the policy added to divinity of life by this mod adds an edict called "we know our place" for rouge servitor
intended affect: 1% complex drone output (planet) 0.1% complex drone output (empire)
actual affect: 1.1% complex drone output (planet)
it also adds a similar bonus for amenities but that parts working fine.

So without the edict, your bio trophies will give out a 1% bonus, and with the edict, they will give out a 1.1% bonus each. This modifier applies to every bio trophy individually.

oh, thought it was intended to make the additional bonus empire wide tho? like a bio trophy on one planet will increase the production of complex drone on every planet by 0.1%. based on the wording of the galactic community policy

No. It just adds to what the bio trophies add. Each bio trophy adds to the planet they're on. If a planet doesn't have any bio trophies, there is no bonus. Empire wide meant that all planets with bio trophies in your empire will be affected. In vanilla, each trophy pop adds +1% to your complex drone production on the planet they're on. With this edict they add +1.1% complex drone output + 0.1% amenities production. I will change the description and increase the planet-wide bonus. It will be implemented in the next patch which will release after I've made the mod work with Stellaris 3.7.
