DUPLICATION BUGS
Generators and bodies work fine, but the boxes, TV's and garbage cans can be very easily duplicated.

If picked up with the pickup tool, but dropped or placed, they often drop a copy while another remains held in your hands.

dropped items, or "move to floor" items will retain the character model of the picked up object, cease to function (TV's don't work, garbage cans don't delete items). and can only be picked up like regular items.

doing so will often, not always duplicate it.

I think if there is a way to isolate it to only using the pickup tool to pick up and place, that may stop duplication issues.

Dupes seem connected to the item showing up in inventory just like a weapon, soda bottle, etc.

Well it has to be an item either way. just not sure how it being dropped as an item rather than a tile is causing dupes?

can you post a video example of how you are doing it?

COOL BEANS!!!

TV's and Trash Cans are fixed!

Cardboard boxes are mostly working but I can still dupe them doing the following:

1- Picking up and placing a cardboard box works as intended if using the pickup-tool ONLY.

2- If you use the mouse and hover over your inventory icon/hotbar and select "drop cardboard box" or "move to floor" it creates a copy.

Thank you for this mod and keep at it!

upper left corner of the screen, where you see equipped weapons, the heart symbol to bring up your health screen, etc.

right click on the cardboard box and it brings up the context menu for things like "move to trunk", "move to backpack" etc. like other items you have equipped.

are you SURE that's not a mod? I do not see those options that you speak of.

It may be because I play with a controller, which causes the item hotbar to vanish

Appreciate the looking into it tho. I'm a major fan of mods like these so want to see them more :). I'll just make sure to stick with the pickup tool and all should be well!

Side note: I'm unable to stack card-board boxes on top of each other as well. Just noticed that on my server last night. Hard to determine if it's the mod or interaction with other mods cause the server has a lot of them. Would test more, but I won't be able to for a few days

if you are stacking the MODELS then it will not work. you have to place them through the normal placing method.

I have this bug too. In my case I was picking up micrtowave and when I place it then pickit up again there's a duplicate still remain in the floor. Also after I place it the microwave didn't work as is should as in I can't use it to cook/heating food.

FYI I'm using controller too , I'll try starting a new save with essential mod only and see if this bug related to playing with a controller.

It has to be something with the controller. I cannot replicate this issue at all

I managed to duplicate a green fridge. I used "Loot all" to pick it up, creating a copy in my inventory while it was still standing in front of me. I then placed the one from my inventory and had 2 fridges.
