Local Multiplayer Luigi?
Basically just another Mario you can control with the arrow keys that has Luigi's color palette.

(I put a comment like this a bit ago but nobody acknowledged it)

cool idea! not on my number 1 priorities for the mod, but definitely gonna try to add it at somepoint!

Yes. Local multiplayer usually means a copy of player one with different controls, or a copy of player one with a different controller slot.
