This is a reskinned cherry bomb in a nutshell, its a rare case that happens once in a moon depending on some collisions that is tied to this game's engine. 😅

You can technically throw the cherry from below to above by just jumping.

I ran into 3 soft locks while playing and had to restart for 2 of them.

1) If you complete the mountain girl’s quest twice, she soft locks the game by never giving you the flower hat since you already have it.

2) In the secret level, if you drop the placeable mushroom at your feet (can be done next to a ground mushroom), it traps you inside that mushroom.

3) On the 2nd floor of the North island (with the orange flower), you can fall in between the floor edges to wedge yourself between the cliff. Unless you have the no bonk badge to spam yourself out of it, it’s a soft lock.

And not a soft lock, but I was really stumped on how to reach the East island and had to look up a guide (said guide cheated with infinite jumps anyway). Turns out you have to dive down the slope into the flower and use the momentum to launch yourself to the island. It wasn’t very clear and I interpreted it as an impossible gap to cross that needed those flower hookshots to cross.

I also was civilianing / reference posing entering the secret level the first time, I don’t know if that’s intentional or not given it had a trippy look.

2nd one is very hard to fix and i cannot do anything about it in the long run, the others I'll give them a look.

What if the Dweller mask let you phase through mushrooms? Or a failsafe that despawns them after 2 minutes? Or some push volume pushing the player away from the mushroom base before it grows trying to prevent them getting stuck? Or even you can attack the mushroom to destroy it after 4 hits. I’m not familiar with AHIT modding but I hope a solution presents itself somewhere.

I can second point 2), as well as the confusion over the East Island access.

If the place-able mushroom cannot be made solid in order to prevent getting stuck inside it, I would second Katja's opinion to make it despawn after 2-3 minutes.
I even attempted to activate co-op mode to see if Bow Kid would spawn outside the mushroom, but she spawned inside it too.

I would also suggest placing a sign with a hint towards how to access the East Island.

Hello, the East Island has been giving a small tip context, I hope this is enough to get the idea to how to do it.

In the central flower area, after you fill up the crate with a water bubble for the little dude to water the house flower, the watering animation stays there and gets softlocked.

Don't know if this is something i should post here. But, is there a way to get it to stop showing the alternate title screen? While i like this one. I prefer the games base game title screen.

Mushroom level seems to be broken: Hat Kid is t-posing with no animations in it. Unsure if that's making it impossible to wall-walk
