Zombie Spawn Frequency
It appears that the zombies spawn at a more intense rate than in the original CotD, which badly affects gameplay/flow.

In the past, I played the original CotD a great amount. I am well aware that zombies sprint in this map, and do not sprint like that in many other maps. My memory may be incorrect when comparing it to the original.

Even though I try to set aside false perceptions, it really feels like something is strange at times when it comes to the volume and speed at which zombies appear in my path as I traverse the map. I might call it clustered.

Perhaps it is related to BO3 supporting more zombies on the map at once compared to the original CotD or something related to the spawn pathing mechanics. I do not know.

I believe spawns are vital to how the map feels and plays. Again, I understand that I could be wrong about this. However, as it represents a potentially significant issue, I would greatly appreciate if it was looked into.

For clarification, I don't wish to have zombie sprinting mechanics be any different than original, despite their original speed making the game hard for many.

My chief concern is that the remake may be quite different in this aspect and make the map play poorly as a whole.

No you aren't imagining this. I noticed this almost immediately as well. It's especially bad on the ship next to the power switch. It seems they all prioritize coming out of the barrier up there at once. It's also noticeable in spawn on higher rounds.

Thanks, NitroBomb. I'm glad to know it's not just me and my imagination. Hopefully the devs are able to somewhat mitigate spawn speeds in higher rounds if they can't overhaul the spawn placement.

As for why the issue is present, only the devs would know.

It might have to do with the unique sprinting mechanic the zombies have after all. For example, if in the original CotD they didn't start sprinting until they left the barrier, but here they sprint from behind the spawn, thus significantly increasing the spawn flow in certain areas where the zombies have to run to the spawn point instead of crawling out from under the floor, etc.

I'm purely guessing as I'm not sure if they sprinted behind barriers in CotD. The solution may not be so simple.
