My chief concern is that the remake may be quite different in this aspect and make the map play poorly as a whole.
Thanks, NitroBomb. I'm glad to know it's not just me and my imagination. Hopefully the devs are able to somewhat mitigate spawn speeds in higher rounds if they can't overhaul the spawn placement.
As for why the issue is present, only the devs would know.
It might have to do with the unique sprinting mechanic the zombies have after all. For example, if in the original CotD they didn't start sprinting until they left the barrier, but here they sprint from behind the spawn, thus significantly increasing the spawn flow in certain areas where the zombies have to run to the spawn point instead of crawling out from under the floor, etc.
I'm purely guessing as I'm not sure if they sprinted behind barriers in CotD. The solution may not be so simple.
