Dial Combinations [SOLVED]
There's a lot of talk around the Easter Egg and what's the same and what's different, but from what I can tell this is the only notable difference (aside from solo having some of the co-op steps), and since I'm guessing some people don't know where the original scraps of paper are located, this might help:
  • Yellow: on the floor by Jug semi-next to the zombie barrier
  • Orange: In the boathouse in front of the boarded-up window next to the zombie barrier closest to the Easter Egg generator
  • Blue: Semi-next to the blue dial in the lighthouse
  • Purple: Near Double Tap, in the life preserver next to the one in front of the radio

Also, from what I can tell, the dials currently act as follows:
  • Yellow turns Blue
  • Orange turns Purple
  • Blue turns Orange
  • Purple turns Yellow

Update: it seems as though there are a set number of combinations the dials can have, and of these the dials can be solved by utilizing the following steps (assuming the dials are still all at 0):
  • Turn purple to its number
  • Turn yellow to its number
  • Turn blue to its number
  • (Any other permutation that follows the pattern of dials that turn another will also probably work, like yellow/blue/orange, orange/purple/yellow, etc)
I have seen a number of people run into this problem on solo and a number who haven't needed to touch dials, so if you are having this issue try this

Combinations I know of so far:
  • 6235
  • 8576
  • 2745

its broken its wrong something is missing or messed up in the hint strings probably. to do with turning the dial to 4 it only goes to 3 it should be the same as what it used to be

Yeah, I still haven't managed to successfully finish dials since they have that different pattern

Ok, not sure if it actually is the same for everybody or not; but my code has been 6235 two games in a row; since every time the dials start at 0, here's what I did to 'solve' dials:
  • Turn Purple to 5
  • Turn Yellow to 6
  • Turn Blue to 3
And that was it for me (note, this is for co-op, I don't think you have to touch dials in solo)

Just found another code 8576 and it appears to follow the same pattern of turning purple to its number, then yellow to its number, then blue to its number and you're done

Just confirmed that you may also need to do this on solo and it follows the same pattern
