I've been playing this mod a bunch this past week and I gotta say, this has incredible potential to be remade as a full game. I'd donate to a startup fundraiser in a heartbeat.

If any devs read this, did the original full-size modding team ever discuss the possibility of forming or joining a small indie studio to make an independent game? It might not be likely but, I think something great could come of it. I did hear that Dennis was already considering licensing the Teardown base engine to other projects.
