In fact i took into account a companion could die but as a reflex, just for compatibility's sake without really realizing it was in game and i was simply not using it (too tedious when testing). So i did a simple check and when the party leader was dead i simply removed him from the list ...
But that just don't work as doing so throws an uncaught exception and then a crash. My bad for not testing this properly cause i was truly not thinking about it anymore.
So now instead of simply checking and removing parties with dead leader i properly remove the party from the auto rebuild and it should be fixed in next version that should come out today or tomorrow.
I was checking if you had a workaround until the patch but sadly no, i still haven't added the button to select if a party should be rebuilt or not so you will have to wait for the update, really sorry about this.
