How to install custom sounds
The following Guide is how to Install Custom sound for Halo:MCC Steam workshop
(Note : This is a foolproof step by step guide, even if it looks obvious, there are still people struggle how it works)

Go to Steam workshop
Click on Subscribe on the mod

Scroll down and read the description
Sound file requires downloading it from other sources
Click on the link

If you choose to use Nexus Mod to download
On the "Standalone FMOD Download", Click on the "Manual Download"

Extract the downloaded "Standalone FMOD" compress/zip folder

Cut or Copy the fmod folder

Go to steam library
Right click on Halo:MCC
Click on Properties

Go to Local Files
Click on Browse

Click on Halo reach folder

Paste the Cut/Copied fmod into the Halo reach folder directly
(Optional, Copy the original fmod first and paste it somewhere, you can get the original fmod back by verifying the Halo:MCC but this is faster.)

Replace the Original fmod completely

Launch Halo:MCC with Anti-Cheat disabled.

Go to Halo:Reach
And you can see the mod's name and start from there.

when I download this, its RAR file, so I cant extract it. I still cant get it to work.

Did all this and still the fatal error crash when it fades to black on the loading screen. Any ideas?

Don't know if you're still struggling with this but I figured it out; you extract the RAR file and you get the folders you need.

I'm a bit confused for sound if someone could help. I downloaded it from Nexus using vortex mod manager. It shows the mod active yet I'm still not getting the custom sounds. Should I uninstall from Vortex and use the steps listed instead? If I go with option 2, do I need to restore the sound files to default every time I want to play online or will I trigger anticheat having it installed?
