The Built In Generator - What am I missing?
I removed the storage compartment. I have successfully installed the generator in the Bushmaster's side, with gas. The body has returned to looking normal. It's there...

So what am I missing?
I didn't think I'd have to ask this, but: What does it do?
My assumption was that it worked as a generator built into your vehicle. Such as you pull up, wire it up from the truck to the surrounding area (like a generator), fire it up and do your work with power as needed.

Basically that it was like a mobile Generator you wouldn't have to constantly pick up and put down. But, uh..... I uh.... I can't get it to do anything. Or figure out at all what I am missing. Yes I am grown adult, but this is making me feel dumb. Thanks.

its not a portable usable generator just a cool way to transport it around far as i know

Yeah I've kind of come to the same conclusion, that's it's just a neat place to store it?
Honestly the only confusing feature I've come across with all these great Vehicles!
But I've also come o the conclusion that if i have to remove the whole storage space to put the generator here... then I just put it IN one of he storage spots. I think one of them is 40, the exact amount of "space" to store a generator. As either way you still have to take it out, placed it, and hook it up.

For me I just remove it completely because it adds unnecessary weight to the vehicle. It would be nice if we could exchange that space for extra storage for regular items

I thought this place was either some storage bins, OR could be removed to place the "built-in" generator. I haven't played my game in a while now, but I swear I decided to remove the generator and replace the default storage which had at least 1 container big enough to just store a generator at 40 weight. Because I think that where this thread started because I'd be carrying it around in vehicle storage which required to pull it out and hook it up all the time. ...
Although it's been a few months so was I just putting it in an adjacent storage bin? lol.
