I like the idea of pawpads allowing the lack of shoes, but I'm not sure it's technically possible for clothing statistics to adapt based on whether human or not. I'll look into it, but I can't promise anything.
If the system does not allow it, then can you use shoes without models, an item called a claw, which does not have models instead of paw pads?
