Exactly, people should have right to choose what they prefer but it was taking from us without any warnings and lots of peoples modpacks and saves got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up from this.

Unzip and put the mod in this folder, if you have a regular steam installation:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods
It should look like this:

Have you paid for it to demand any kind of service?
It costs literally nothing to not remove old versions. It takes absolutely no time at all to leave them be. I don't think anyone is asking a whole lot here.
Believe me, getting a 50yo to understand where to get the mod from, unzipping it and putting it in their mods folder is going to take a lot longer than if a dev just left an old version for others to use.
