Odd Question
What does item quality actually do inside of combat extended for ranged weapons?

Since all the damage is tied to ammunition, how does this actually affect the weapon? Am I being shown the correct stats when I hit info and combat a Legendary to a Normal quality ranged weapon?

actually masterwork and legendary does give you a slight damage multiplier

largely has impact on the sights and spread of weapon but as scout said yes masterwork and legendary weapons also increase dmg and i believe awfull ones might even be slightly worse. poor to excellent its mostlyl abbout accuracy and usability by shooters. a bad shotgun is still a shotgun if your crafters suck using weapons that require little to no accuracy is a good idea.
