lag on the map winter resurgence
maps pretty cool but the creator should fix the lag

Any idea what might cause the lag / chrashes for you?

idk it happened after you put the files in the desc and i put them were they should go it started crashing all other maps were fine i re-did the whole gmod folder and it still crashed

I was on this map for a good hour and expiranced minmal lag, and no crashes. I belive the lag you are experiancing is from the high amount of npcs that come and go as time progresses (i.e. the drop ship and headcrab canisters). Another thing that might contribute to lag is the maps large size. These crashes though I have no explanation....

It doesn't lag or crash at all. It's probably another addon you have that's causing it.

You can fix some lag by right clicking on gmod in your libary and selecting properties, then clicking "Set Launch Options" In the dialogue box that it opens type "-dx90" without the quotation marks. That fixed lag on rp_pripyat for me. -dx80 is even better but using that results in the game crashing whenever the console is opened.
