I will add my own: Enabling/disabling addons while in game (If that can even be done)

Enabling is a hard maybe but disabling is literally impossible as you can 't unmount addons

You gotta add the classic toybox loading when it finds a new addon.
(togglable in Q Menu > Utilities or Options)

you seem to know how addons work in conjunction with code, is there a chance you can revive Ultimate Workshop Downloader?

Elaborate, what's wrong with Ultimate Workshop Downloader? Was never familar with it

well it works like addon share, scanning all subscribed addons a server host has, puts all of the addon ids thru resource.AddWorkshop() and connecting players will then download them. As of recent a gmod update seemed to have bricked it.

what i currently find in console is only:
WorkshopDL: Took too long to get item info for xxxxxxxxxx!
WorkshopDL: There is no file to mount for 'xxxxxxxxxx'!

then i get this, which is correct:
[DOWNLOADER] [+] xxxxxxxxxx (addon name)

and lastly:
[DOWNLOADER] Failed to send telemetry data: unsuccessful
