Greetings, Gentlemen!

We'd like to share some of our ideas and upcoming features for the Southern Realms mod with you.

Estalia, Tilea, and Border Princes, as you may have noticed, were left out with no real roster or new units and are therefore not playable by default.

We intend to change that soon! Three new subfactions will be added: Basilea, Remas, and Dogs of War.

Each of these factions will provide specialized infantry and cavalry units.


Estalia, will primarily focus on long-range melee and gunpowder units.

• Eastalian Black Guard (armor with halberds)

Tilea has long been known for its crossbowmen, spearmen and (aka Leonardo Da Vinci special units). As a result, the roster will mostly be composed of pole weapon, long range missile and gun powder units.

• Sagittarius (missle cavalry with crossbows)
  
• Tilean late pikemen
  
• Tilean legionnaires (swordsmen)
  
• Besiegers (crossbowmen with siege shield)
  
• Tilean Guardian (pikemen Armored Guard)

Basilea's main contribution will be powerful spearmen (hoplites) armed with shields and spear throwers (peltasts).

• Peltasts (skirmishers)

Remas will concentrate on archers and swordsmen. As a result, this faction will provide us with archers, pit fighters, elite legionnaires, and legionnaires (gladiators).

The Border Princes are a fascinating mix of Empire defectors, Bretonnians, Highlanders (locals), and nomads. The Border Princes will provide a little bit of everything in this regard, leaving room for many addons!
