Known Incompatibilities list
The following are reported mods that cause conflict with V.O.I.D. faction.




Mod:
Large Faction Bases
Effect: V.O.I.D. bases are reported to spawn with 0 pawns when this mod is enabled





Mod:
Limbs Need Training mod
Effect: V.O.I.D. pawns will spawn with no bionics in V.O.I.D. raids and bases




Keep Bed Ownership
Effects:
Breaks Corpo Beds that spawn in VOID bases due to missing pawn data. Beds cannot be destroyed by normal means.




Multiplayer
Effects:
Events from the mod won't trigger properly in multiplayer.




Alpha Memes
Effects:
Having the “Sadist” meme still forces hostility with VOID because of the -50 forced relations it gives.




Anthro Races
Effects:
Causes N4 creature textures to go missing



Combat Extended
Effects:
- *New helmet rendering issues with their layer system. (Forgot if it’s fixed, will check sometime)



Fixable issue:
Hunt for Me
Effects:
Gizmos not working

How to fix:
Re-arrange the modlist, load Hunt for Me under VOID Faction.

Note: this will be updated if someone reports that they work well now. In VSE's example, Taranchuk has flagged it to legodude to be fixed.

These will only be listed if it's an issue caused by the other mod and cannot be fixed through this mod itself

Misc. MapGen FactionBase

This mod seems to constantly screw up faction bases with custom spawn setup, with their own variant. Even if this gets updated to 1.4, I can see how it will absolutely screw with V.O.I.D bases, given the fact I have seen it done to Vanilla Faction Expanded, at least those with custom base setup like this.

That includes the Neo Mechanoid Ships from VFE:M, and Reaper Ships from Rim-Effect: Asari and Reaper.

Hey mate. Taran has addressed it, he's working on a patch for that mod and another one like it to prevent it from tampering with my stuff. I'll sort it out soon.

i wanted to add something about the vse situation, i attacked a void base, and i got 0 pawns there, and, in addition, large faction bases too has some issues, as it generates some of his stuff to overlap with the custom void base layout

Just noticed the incompatibility with Vanilla Skills Expanded and why sometimes the contact event triggers and why sometimes doesn't.

What's the debug name of the event? to trigger it manually if I have to.

@Inquisition Time! - Sorry mate, it's not an event you can trigger. Taranchuk hid it as its own little hidden incident. I can only recommend you try other incidents cause VSE messes with them too

@picard65 - You mean VSE overlapping with void base layout?

If you meant the mapgen mod, Taranchuk has made a patch if the two are enabled.

I cannot reproduce the issues with VSE. I've tried attacking a base, and several of the incidents, and it all worked fine.

@legodude17 - Hey mate thanks for taking the time to drop by! I've ran tests myself too and things seem to be in order now.

Its possibly that new RimWorld update combined with some new changes Taran made, no idea what fixed it but we'll take it.

Its possibly that new RimWorld update combined with some new changes Taran made, no idea what fixed it but we'll take it.
From what Taran has told me, I fixed the error some time ago but didn't realize it was causing issues with VOID. Glad it works now!

I also had 0 enemy pawns in void bases. But after disabling mods "Large Faction Bases", "Choose your enemy base" and "Misc. MapGen FactionBase", they returned, maybe one of these mods does it, but I don’t have time to wait 20 minutes for the game to start, checking each of the mods. Also, void base turrets don't fire with "Combat extended".

I keep getting this loop in the error log when I try to raid a VOID base:

0.010ms (self: 0.007 ms) ExecuteToExecuteWhenFinished()

- 0.002ms (25%) (self: 0.002 ms) Pawnmorph.Utilities.TimedCache`1[System.Single] -> Void Update()

It repeats until the game crashes and the log stops recording.
