How the resurrection works is that it heals all hediffs that are negative as the pawn resurrects. Why it removes xenogenes is beyond me, other than Ludeon coded xenogenes as ultimately "hediffs" somehow. I'll let him work on the issue, though when I'm asked if an issue is ever intentional, it'd be amiss for me to say that yes, we're intentionally trying to take over the world with our faulty features.
An update should come eventually, but I'll post a reply if I remember to when its sorted out.
"that's not the implant wiping the xenogenes
it's the gene extractor itself"
I didn't know this myself and took the report seriously, I know hediffs can be funky but it's come from the lion's mouth that this is 100% a vanilla feature, not our mod's.
Probably needs to be reported as a bug to Tynan/Ludeon, not sure.
