I found that trying to land one of the Rimnauts 2 Large Cargo Pod rockets on an asteroid would put a pawn near the asteroid, and then hitting the Land on Asteroid button for the caravan orbiting the asteroid did absolutely nothing.
And same as the initial post, sending an SoS2 shuttle up there erases the shuttle and all pawns on board while loading only a completely fogged map.
