Better graphic settings.
Conan Exiles' graphics are quite outdated by today's standards. Here is a way to improve it.

First select cinematic settings in game. Exit the game.


Go to:

\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open Scalability.ini with a text editor and add the text below:

And add this to Engine.ini

How much this will impact game performances?

I have a 3080 and I feel no difference performance wise. I think a 2080 will do quite well too.

Well, FPS are more stable than before, in high places with low poly around, even better about. What i see about differences is, some lights, like coloured radium ones, flicker some in close ambients. At least in my system, drivers updated to the precedent release, 512.77. But i also use a more lower gamma than the default, to have more richer contrasts (1.50) and to don't see nothing in caves XD. Are you using the suggested default NVIDIA settings for CE? I do.

It makes the game use a better anti-aliasing method, draws more detailed textures and shadows, and makes the draw distance farther. The foliage and characters are sharper and more detailed too.
Also in GameUserSettings.ini, try changing DesiredScreenWidth, DesiredScreenHeight to your monitor's resolution to see if that makes any difference.
