Thanks for letting us know about this bug, there should be an autosave or two before that point. I'm not sure why they didn't trigger. Will look into this issue, in the meantime the workaround would be to try again but to shoot open the lock with the gun. That will trigger the door to open, sorry about the inconvenience.
The rest of the map went swimmingly. I feel using zombies as patrons was kind of odd and didn't really sit right, that was just bizarre, but everything else was good, the environment design, Deadeye's character, the voicework, the combat, both endings, it's all very well crafted. The story was actually better than I thought it was going to be, with the plot twist at the end. I thought it was all an excuse for the setting and set-pieces until that part.
The whole thing with the main dance hall and elevator coming back into play, I didn't actually see that coming, either. And the third act was a real curve-ball, too. Do I sense some influences from the Far Cry series in that head-trip?
Still, maybe redesign that bit with the chair? It's way too hard to figure out, I had to check the video for that. The rest of it was alright, though, it's just that part.
Sorry to hear you ran into this issue it sounds really frustrating. Do you have any other addons enabled? Sometimes playing with other addons can cause compatibility issues. If not, then I'd say your best bet is loading an older autosave, or restarting the addon.
Might also be worth turning your controllers on and off if you're unable to pick anything up with your left hand.
