I ended my turn with the armadillo vehicle next to an arthron with machine gun. He started shooting at the armadillo in the beginning (so had 2 AP left) and my vehicle used return fire. did you get the hotfix for the current release? In the title menu it should say in the bottom right corner "Hotfix 1 for Update #58". If that doesn't appear, restart Steam and it should download automatically. If it doesn't you might need to unsub and resub.
