How do you kill the behemoth in tftv?
I have most of the research completed, including virophage weapons. I have even researched the final NJ technology, project nemesis. Currently, I am not researching anything and I just have two unresearched technologies available: food harvesting and virophage injector. So I'm sort of stuck with regard to the behemoth right now. By "how do you kill the behemoth" I don't mean "what is the best way to run the mission". I can't unlock the mission itself. Like, I can't build a masked manticore, which gated the mission in vanilla. If tftv has some other mechanism for unlocking the mission, I can't see that either.

You need that Masked Manticore and for that, you need an infested haven because you need to destroy and reseach the Corruption Node.

But in TFTV Behemoth is not infesting havens, one haven in the mist has to be destroyed in order to have a chance for infested haven.

Thank you! I noticed you said "a chance". If you don't mind, does it roll everytime the pandorans destroy a haven inside the mist and if so what are the chances it becomes infested instead of just gone?

According to the change notes of Update #28:
-Changes
+Forced haven infestation if the player doesn’t research Node before a certain time (chosen at random within a range).

I got mine invested haven way prior to Feb 10.

I dont kill it at all, mission to win the game are almost at the same time with behemot mission.

Yes, it rolls, starting with a small chance, later it is increased, also one Void Omen can force every destroyed haven into infested one.

And also now if you don't roll at least one infested haven one is hard coded triggering at a specific date, actually a range.
