it's a weird UI glitch; sometimes the last item in the list gets a cloned entry. But if you buy one of them, both disappear.
Shouldn't be happening and I have been unable to reproduce it, but will keep an eye out for it. Found it, the whole method for generating marketplace offers was not being called.
Yes, now that they require ammo the only rule is that one of each guns is offered at a time.
yep, unfortunately unavoidable. I hope they will see the bright side that their weapons no longer break :)
Many thanks and please do tell how it goes with the KG, what use you find for them, etc.
All bought Kaos weapon ammo is listed as Assault equipment.
- Tormentor ammo is missing an additional Berserker tag.
- Tormentor and Obliterator ammo should also have a Mutoid tag.
# Marketplace offers
- Buying soldiers: living quarters capacity is not respected.
- I’m loving the return of some promo code goodies.
- Getting fully equipped soldiers early game for such a low price is a steal. Compared to PX recruits they have better stats and are cheaper (because they are fully equipped). The only downside is the gambling with their personal perks.
- Sensible adjustments to their weapons and armors.
- The Infiltrator’s weapon and armor have a scrap value > 0.
- [Maybe already fixed] I have seen multiple offers of the same weapon = easier stockpiling of ammo.
# KG usage
- Obliterator: it might have helped to kill the Sentinel in a base defense one turn earlier. If true that was huge. In normal missions I prefer a conventional AR.
- Redemptor: very useful because a SG is usually a secondary weapon. So the low ammo count doesn’t matter that much.
- Subjector: not for Snipers as their main weapon because Kill Zone will burn through the ammo clip. Considering that after early game SRs aren’t the killer weapons and more useful in disabling body parts and applying shred a basic NJ SR is the better choice.
- Tormentor: should not be used as main HG for Snipers (Gunslinger) and Berserkers (Gun Kata) as too much APs are wasted on reloading. If facing worm spam a Laser HG is far superior to a Tormentor.
- Devastator: interesting for early PX Heavy recruits because they come without a weapon. In general not bad because the main weapons of my Heavies are usually Grenade and Missile Launcher. In the last run I had only one Heavy (B-team) in action (beside an Assault/Heavy (A-team) and 2 Heavies in reserve) whose gun was a Gauss PDW.
- I think they are better useable on lower difficulties than Legend. Reason: with higher PX soldier starting stats and more SP/mission it is much more feasible to carry a KG as an additional weapon. On Legend that is too much weight and if used as a main weapon I would need to carry many ammo clips because the higher enemy count (again weight constraints).

thx, will fix.
Could it have been a "special"? every once in a while when the market restocks it will do so with special, where additional items of some type are offered with substantial discount. (this would be a weapons special)
