I'd just backup everything in the folder personally...But the "Windows User Profile" is basically specific to your username on windows and several other things that could change it. Usually when people want to access it they just goto "My Documents" on their Start Menu. I should note the best practice is to backup the entire Arma 3 Folder "as is" - making no modifications and keeping the structure intact. Also Skydrive/OneDrive automatically usually is set to backup the ENTIRE "My Documents" Tree, so OP try checking your OneDrive account for the old data on the cloud.

Additionally if your really getting data corruption issues, it's a sign your Drive may be failing or need replacing; the chances of it being a virus are slim but not none; usually it's lack of maintaince and/or aging equipment.Of course, ti could also be a sign that you forced your PC to shutdown without the proper shutdown sequence (e.g. Power Failure/Pulling the Plug while Still On), which is significantly less costly to fix.
