@Big Baby Skesus You can do that! Use the starting settlement mod. Lets' you choose where you want to start at the beginning of the game.
Couple of ideas:
1: Make a second city type that lets you switch to scarlet empire cities that focus more on SE units for garrisons than normal VC units.
1a: As part of this, maybe have some peasant-type units to replace skeletons for low tier defense/field troops since SE troops are better than average and skeletons are boring. Zombies are zombies and they work fine (though it would be awesome to have special zombies for them too).
2: Something to replace the Vargheists as air shock troops. Maybe winged vampires based on the Valkia skeleton/anims? Could make an interesting additional 'mount' for SE Vampire lords/heroes too. If you were really dedicated you might even be able to do a transformation like the Cathay LLs so they could take to the air as they needed.
3: Blood dragons. Vampire dragons. Not rotting zombie dragons. Those are lame. Vampire dragons. Would make a great mount for The Scarlet Empress!
Also, the Bloody Roses are mortals until upgraded to vampires on the tech tree, right? In your WH2 version of this mod they had a hybrid trait. I was wondering if that was still the case.
The reason I ask is that the Bloody Roses figure prominently in a story I'm writing, and I'd like to get the details right!
The other 2 units i had in mind to replace vargheists were a variation of mounted pegasus knight alike, and new dragons is something i thought about as well just need to find the time to kitbash a new model togheter and retexture it.
This is probably a late reply anyway, but they are just a setting unrelated to warhammer i imagined and ported into total war warhammer cause i could and wanted to play as their armies, best way to fit them in i guess is outside world invaders that come to conquer the warhammer world, rest of details i'm just too peepo shy to share XD
I know that they're not official lore, of course- I just see the Bloody Roses being Lahmia's mortal army, and the Blood Legion being something that Vlad establishes in Sylvania.
Would it be oky for you ?
