I've been trying to figure out for ages on how to get specific colors to work, but I can't get them to actually work, because the base color on the model is preventing me, like wanting to get an amethyst purple but the base color of the object/hair prevents that, because it's something like yellow or orange.

If anybody is able to help me, I would really, really appreciate it.
