- check the beacons specialist to see what the global ammo override is set to. It will be less lethal by default on all new prisons, some old prisons might have it set to lethal initially
- requires active beacons (15 tiles range) to shoot less-than-lethal rubber bullets or the ammo specialist's global override
- click the beacon for pop-up menu: you can toggle if beacons are active or not as you wish
- armed guards will STILL shoot lethal buckshot when caught off-guard or when they are very injured. This was intentionally added and is not a bug, dont report this as an issue!
- uniform packs should be functional with this mod. The armed guards will NOT have the uniforms applied, but everything else should be functional
- will try to always use buckshot against zombies, regardless of beacon/override settings
- locker requirement removed due to modding limitations
- beacon range slightly bigger than the bypasser range to make it easier to overlap them
- you can put the beacons/bypassers in walls! No need to cramp your rooms if you dont want to!
- lethal buckshot makes the classic shotgun sound effect, less than lethal ammo makes the generic gun sound effect

- to dismantle "Weapon Rack (Variant)" use the "Dismantle Object" tool in "Objects" menu

- this mod does NOT support the legacy orders, only "Search and Actions per sector" (which is enabled by default, and should stay so)


Known issues and how to fix them
- Broken Stab Vest Sprites/duplicate armour sprites - caused by not installing BAI (required mod) properly. The mod loader order should be LLLAG above BAI.

- Shotguns randomly have no firing sound - caused by not installing Ozone Fixes & Qol (required mod). If the mod is installed and it still happens then that means another mod you have overwrites the sound definitions.

- Broken GUI icons - Some sprites are broken when they appear in pop-up icons or GUI menus - this is not a mod issue but an issue with the way the game handles "objects_d11_2.png" and affects every single mod that has an external custom sprite sheet. Due to modding limitations this issue is not fixable by modders in every citcumstance... But this mod fixes most of them:

Normally in the staff menu, the one where you hire them, there is a number below the icon corresponding to how many of the staff of the certain type there are, and with armed guards, there is usually a limit on how many can be hired, but with the mod, it removes both the number of how many, and how many can be hired, meaning that with the mod regular lethal armed guards have no hiring limit, as well as less lethal armed guards.

No, the sprite is reused from campaign chapter 4 (Officer Keane), with some slight modifications.

Hands Of Guards Are black, even if character is supposed to be white.
