Mod incompatibility w/Save our Station
There seems to be two mod incompatibilities I've come across that cause:
1. No radio broadcast for DiC on emergency station. No DiC messages appear.
2. Darkness state triggers, but zombies states do not change (shambler -> sprinter)

Therefore:
1. Save our station and Darkness is coming don't play well together anymore is seems.
2. FWO Fitness Workout Overhaul seems to break changing the zombie states for some reason. No idea why, but when I disable it, DiC zombie states trigger properly. Actually it appears that JUST Save our Station is causing DiC's zombie states to not trigger. Very odd!

A work around would just to have Save our Station - Knox County enabled, but not the SoS Core module. That way you can still enjoy the new locations and vehicles + DiC's game mechanics, until a new patch is release. (Most likely not until build 42 is released.)

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else is having trouble with DiC not trigger properly! :lunar2019piginablanket:

Good news; the Dev of Save our Station suggest to manually change the mod load order to ensure that SoS is higher than TDiC - this fixed the most important issues of Radio broadcasts now forewarning player about darkness event, and zombies now properly triggering into dark zombie states.

Bad news: not all issues are fixed - 1. During the darkness event, you usually get an ETA broadcast on the Emergency broadcast channel how long the darkness event will last. Despite correcting the load order, this does not trigger properly. and 2. You'll have to subscribe to Mod Manager (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2694448564) and make sure SoS is loaded before TDiC.

ALSO do NOT adjust the Darkness event duration percentages. This too will break the event. Modding is fun isn't it? :}

If either dev happens to read this, thank you for all your hard work! You guy are an awesome part of the PZ community!

Hey thanks for the info and im also having some issues mind answering a few questions for me? what do you mean by "do not adjust event duration" what will it break? the zombies, the event itself? my issue is that the darkness will come but the zombies are not affected and yes i do have "save our station" but the load order is that save our stations is higher than the darkness mod but i did adjust the duration so im wondering if thats the cause?

Hey Retr0l0gy! Not a problem - so for the "do not adjust event duration" issue, what breaks is the darkness event will trigger (darkness + fog) however zombies will not change from shamblers to sprinters. To prevent this, when setting up you sandbox options, anything under the "Darkness is Coming - Core" tab, make sure everything is untouched; don't change any options.

In your case, adjusting the duration most likely broke the event. However adjusting the "time between events" does not. So try a fresh start with the "Darkness is Coming - Core" tab untouched except change the "time between events" to 2 hours so you can test if it's still broken or not, and let me know if that works for you!

I am not gonna restart my save because well I just dont want to but I will change back to the default settings when I die. Thank you for responding and thanks for the help! :D

does adjusting % durations variance break the event in general? or only when SoS is on
