is it possible to make a 'Only Rifle armed skirmish troops'?
I realy wanna make rifle squad
plz help me~

kind of...i never tryed it but i guess if you get the right troops and upgrade them until you have rifle user only

yea you can, just recruit a bunch of Ji Samurai and upgrade them to gunner tree. The Oda clan gets the Elite Hatamoto Gunners which is the final tier one. not sure if the other clans can get them too. If you wanna know more and the progress of the mod, go to moddb if you didnt already know... right now it looks dead or the creator is taking a very long time to update the mod

ah... i'm looking for 'ashigaru gunners'
you know.. like japanese games and movies?

the monks of the Ikko Ikko Clan has some i think? i know they havve gunners

yeah, I agree. I think it would be nice for all units for have clear gunner and bow trees in general. When you combine them into a single unit you lose a lot of control over customization.

Do you think it might work to talk to your skirmishers on the party screen, see equipment, and then just remove their bows and arrows?

Upgrade the samurai to gunners, they have katanas and fight better in close combat. If you really want those villager-gunners, you should try Oda, Ikko or Shimazu, they have more gunners than archers.

A cheaper alternative is to capture one of the temples. Tsushima and Kokawa-dera can easily be taken despite their garrison of 70 men. Just recruit gunners. They are cheap and very deadly.

I use mostly gunner. lots of ji-samurai
Skirmishers are no garantee of one or the other

I satnd in a line, and move down the enemy like paper in a flamethrower
