So I'm c.1300 days into the my current game, my Clan Uesugi has over 80 city centers, and the current strategist is incapable of getting a campaign going due to how spread out faction forces are, and as soon as I join a campaign, he gives it up and never gains controversy so we're stuck with a feckless strategist that we can't friggin dump.

On a side note, OMG the strategist keeps handing out missions right before siege battles begin with regularity to the point where I ignore all strat. missions now. Basically that system in Gekokujo is a bunch of wasted mouseclicks and time. Just remove it.
