If I add the old underworld background it might look weird, but if you want I'll do it anyway (note: if you turn off backgrounds it has the OG background anyway). As for clouds, the current ones are the ones from 1.2, which fit best with the other textures, but I'd gladly expand the Beta NPCs mod to include the clouds too via that pack, and maybe other textures

Edit: Yeah, they are, I have the textures from every version on my PC and I just checked them lol

Oh, and I did an update that adds the original underworld background and removes the,"rare," 1.3 and 1.4 easter egg clouds :)

Yeah I looked it up and I already had the textures on my PC. Beta and 1.0 both used the exact same cloud textures. I guess it's kinda disingenuous to true retro, but I don't want to use the actual OG clouds in this pack, so I used an in-between version (1.2) of them. But I added the OG clouds to the Beta NPCs pack and you can use that.
If that makes sense :)
If you want the clouds separate I can do that too or instead

I'm updating to fix the icons. As for the background bug, that's normal, check it without the resource pack on and it will do the same thing. Thanks though

I'll update soon for the buff icon and items. The Shadow Armour is intentional since it's the OG Shadow Armour texture. Should I change it back? I'll add the OG skeletons to the beta pack. And thanks :)

Wdym about the armor? You want me to add back the ones I had removed to add the old textures? Because the textures they have now are the ones from 1.0

I'm going to add the original 1.4.4 textures for the armors back as the ancient variants

It just looks like regular Underworld with backgrounds off and the 1.2 hellstone brick texture to me. Am I missing something? Go try with no texture packs on and backgrounds off, that's how it looks
