since you installed this while gmod was running, you have to restart your gmod. its because the files conflict with one another and they kindof merge and glitch out unless if gmod is restarted.

I did that and it still does not work. I have also disabled other footstep addons

that happened to me too in another footstep mod maybe a addon is conflicting?

check your problems list and is you see any error with this mod re-install it and disable all footstep sound replacement mod more than this one

There is a way to reinstall every addon at once as soon as you start Garry's Mod. Sure, depending on the amount of addons you have, it will take some time. But it literally fixes everything as if you installed said addon for the first time. Navigate to the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons. Once you are there, select all of the GMA files and delete them. This will force Garry's Mod to install every addon that you've deleted there (as long as you haven't already uninstalled them via the "Addons" tab in the Garry's Mod Menu.)

Sorry I didn't explain this before, I guess I didn't think about it at the time. But yeah, hopefully this helps you.

i had the same thing happen to me, all i did was uninstall the addon then reinstall it before running gmod and that fixed it

i went onto the addons file on my pc but no gma files showed up for some reason?

I think some update changed it because mine doesn't show either.

put snd_restart in console. it reloads sounds.
