There is a russian awacs with escort in the sky north, but that one is not part of any objective. Although you can try to engage them (after the war starts and you are weapons free of course), hey are not invincible or anything.

Mission should end when all mandatory objectives are completed and you are in full stop on Vasylkiv ground. Maybe if you landed at Vasylkiv in some corner you might be too far away from the landing detection trigger. If you want to be paranoid just stop in the middle of the runway.

If that doesn't help, you can check on your MFD display in the plane if any objective list is not green/finished ? On your displays there is the "OBJ" menu where you can use "next" "prev" buttons to list through all the objectives. Mission should automatically end when all are green.

I published an update for the campaign extending the landing triggers to cover the whole airport in mission 2 even if you park the aircraft in the most remote corner of the airport.

The problem really was that the two small hangars in the corner of the airport were outside of the trigger that detects landing (e.g. 0 altitude and 0 speed).

It should now properly detect your landings in all missions.

Same on my end. I have been circling the bandits for countless loops. Having both locked in my radar. But nothing happens. Constantly flying around 2,3k feet. What am I doing wrong?

Ok, my bad. You have to lock the missile on both of them. one after the other to threat them.
