"High efficiency in Search Mode" doesn't tell much
And if it's a bunch of bonuses to finding items in the wilderness, doesn't Park Ranger already have a ton of them?
You can install this mod to see the difference:
More Description for Traits
These needs and wants and things would be unique for every character and would help with balancing certain characters.
For example a popular character "burglar" would have a need to constantly steal things and wants to take valuables, such as jewlerry. If he doesn't get jewlerry, he will become more unhappy
I am modder too, but maybe I will never execute on this, in that case maybe someone else can implement something similar.
Auto mechanic does not have any recipes for vehicles.
Naming traits are hard sometimes.
Thank you 🧡
SOTO does not change Pacifist or Fast Learner traits
Like, I get their thing is they operate gas stations but they feel like just a weaker mechanic.
Stat wise, a mechanic gets 3 mechanic skill, and in this mod they get 3 starting points
While the gas station operator gets 1 mechanic skill and the ability to siphon and fuel things 30% faster, and they get 2 starting points
The ability to siphon and fuel things 30% is, and I don't want to be rude, such a situational thing and it honestly doesn't change that much.
I really think it should get a buff in some way
Mechanic start with:
+2 Mechanics
+ recipes to repair cars
It cost (3*2) + 1 = starting points: 3
GasOperator stat with
+1 Nimble
+1 Mechanics
+1 Maintenance
+ gasoline trait
it cost 2+3+3 + 0 = starting points: 2
Trait for Gas operator cost 0 points. I don't see any reasons for buffs. It's very very situational, but still nice free feature.
that basically adds a low chance to find military based objects for example military clothing in closets weaponry based items (very rare) in chests and lockers
If shortly - because mod following vanilla ideology of starting items. Starting items ruin early game balance and feelings.
