What's your class? I'm doing a rogue play through and using regulus riot along with hydrothermic armor; also try getting a counter scarf or evasion scarf from the clothier to dodge the attacks. In the first phase, run as far as you can from astrageldon but don't stay too far. In the second phase, normally staying in the middle is good. Hope the helps!

Also, astrageldon is a super boss, it's meant to be hard. Just practice and practice and you'll soon get there.

Cant really say what this is skill issue.Boss is broken as hell,bad gamedesign and pre-ml lock just making this boss awful.

Super bosses aren't supposed to be easy, as in Vanilla Calamity with the Eidolon, it's a matter of practice and good preparation.
Just give it time, practice and you'll get it in no time.
Was the Astralgeldon supposed to be an endgame fight?
