Does the co-op partner need the maps aswell?
So i just got this gamemode (it's amazing btw) and my friend and I want to play together but he doesn't have HL2. can he still play with me if he doesn't have the maps?

No. You have to have HL2 bought to play. And no, giving him files wont work

Need to have Hl2 and mounted also or you wont play only with other coop maps (Maybe)
