Post any issues regarding the mod breaking in some way and any concerns regarding balance in this thread. You can also post ideas for new features and changes here.

When reporting a bug, providing any errors that appear in debug console or at the bottom of crash log as well as describing the scenario in which the bug occured will greatly help in solving those issues.

I'm a bit surprised it's even possible to separate the functions of void like that, that's very cool.
I've had a similar idea to this before - the main difference is that devouring void is a pocket active with infinite charge and blinding void is the spacebar active, and still has 6 charges. And I have to ask if you think that's possible? Regardless, awesome mod

Well, you can't really mess with vanilla items that much, so I still had to rewrite the entire item mimicking part from scratch. Converting passive items into stats was on the other hand just a matter of triggering vanilla Void once all active items were evaluated and removed from the room.

As for your suggestion, I don't want to promise anything, but it does sound doable and I might look into implementing that as a toggleable mode sometime in the future.

The configuration options for Void aren't showing up at all in the mod config menu, for some reason.

regarding the item sprites, maybe it would be a good idea to change both items in other ways than to simply use the photoshop bucket tool. Maybe some particle effects, or changing the colors so that they are not just grey and darker grey, could help differenciate them both. Other than that, great mod.

It would be cool if tears are changed to look like Terra's tears but without the breaking stone effects...
Like on Edith's mod...

A little change but it can give dis a very gud twist...

If possible, could you make this compatible with upgraded pocket actives? The way it works now, is that it starts in the pocket active slot, but upon its first use, it switches to the normal active slot. If you could find a way to make it so it stays in the pocket active slot inbetween switching, that'd be really appreciated!

I'd be great if Blinding Void would deal a small mass room damage (as a call back to Void Rune's effect) upon use as its build-in effect because as it is now Blinding Void does nothing on the get go and can stay that way throughout the entire run (if you won't find any actives) which is really underwhelming (vanilla Void currently has the same problem).

I pushed a change that should have hopefully fixed that.

I've gotten into contact with a spriter and if all goes well, the mod should get better sprites soon.

I'm not sure if rock tears are the visual direction I want to take, but I might still consider that, since more visual distinction is cool. Though there are things to change that I'd consider to be a higher priority for now.

I've been wanting to make the mod work with pocket actives, but life got in the way and I couldn't get it done.

It already does that, but only when playing as Apollyon. However you can make it trigger as any character through Mod Config Menu.

Sorry for not responding to all those comments earlier. I've been occupied with irl stuff and didn't have time to read them until now.

I saw that book of virtue does nothing with the void rework so I thought about it and it could give a weak ocular rift wisp in devouring void and a weak lost contact or concussive wisp in blinding void.

Devouring Void doesn't seem to work with items in the 'picked up' animation in Dual mode? Which makes it impossible to absorb devil deal or shop items as Apollyon with it active.

because what I see is that it's super broken when you absorb certain active items.

This is not intentional. Could you describe the circumstances under which you absorbed the item and which item that was?

I started a game with the character to test, I absorbed the yum heart item and used the Devouring Void by chance and heard the sound the yum heart makes when you use it. I tried it and in the end I was healed by using the Devouring Void infinitely.
Then I went to load another game but now using the console to get more active items (mama mega, dark arts, the poop and the d6) and I was able to use them all with the Devouring Void infinitely.

I apologize in advance for my English, I am not very good but I wanted to comment on what happened to me.
