So we know it's in the shelf in the power room, the tiny little drawer. And something about three phones. The old looking phones I guess, not the modern ones.

I just got it, i went to 1983 for the first phone, then back to 51 for the second phone and the last one is in 83 again.

Do you need to do something to trigger the phones? Or do you just look for it in 83, 51, and 83 again? Are they randomly selected, just in future, past and future in that order? I know the Frozen Ray Gun is in the fridge too in the cafeteria, just have to figure out how that opens.

Honestly, i just went to the phone next to the drawer (where the dark ray gun is) and held F for a bit then went to 81 and heard it.

Nothing happens when I use the phone next to the drawer. Tried waiting for a lockdown round and nothing seems to make it start.

bumping this thread i heard the phones ringing in my game the other day but i dont know what i did to trigger them

any update? neither of the 3 phones ive seen ring

it is 100% 81, 51, 81. but how to get them to ring unsure. might be after EE or after a certain round.

So far we know that the first phone is in '83. Start with least likely triggers I guess. The piano in front of the power room that leaves a fire sale? Then EE steps that require you to go to the future.

Examined the phone in the power room, then went to '83. Couldn't find it or hear anything different there. This one's been awfully tricky.

Solved thanks to the creator. Shoot the phone in the power room with the upgraded Teslagun. Wait a round, and you'll hear a phone ringing (listen carefully it's pretty quiet) somewhere in the Cellblock, Warden's Office, Offices or even upstairs. If it's not there, go to the 80s and check the same spots there. Phones are randomized between both timelines. Examine the phone and it'll stop ringing, once you find it for the third time, go to the next round, back to the power room and examine the drawer that says "1938" next to the phone.
