The issue with smoke
A large number of you are telling me to put the particle smoke on the pipe. I know.

But the thing is that I can not add the effect on myself, particle effects are hardcoded on per item in the game so existing items that do this valve did it themselves once added.

The item is set up for the particle effect to work and has the correct attachement "cig_drg_smoke", it is compiled into the item but smoke will come out of it if its ever added to the game.

tl;dr: It can, but the effect can only be put on by valve.

I mean, smoke won't be THAT neccessary, it still looks great without it. And a smoking bomb.. Wouldn't be very safe, right?

Bro,smoke isn't that necessary,but could you try to speak with valve itself,and if it helps you,then you are ok.If it doesn't reply in one or 2 days,just let it without smoke,it is still greatlooking!

No you don't understand, if they do decide to add this they check for the attacment I've compiled in, then add smoke.

Smoke just makes you easier for the enemy to spot. Then again... so would a glow in the dark item... and being seen is the entire premise of unusual items and miscs... so I guess... never mind. Cool item, though.
