Suggestions
Water/O2 Condenser, Portable Heater/Cooler and the Portable Constructor would cost something more than carbon substrate. Something like electronics, like the Handheld Detector. Maybe a engine (maybe too expensive hehe).
The Survival Tool is free and you`ll get this items with no time salvaging.

need a way to get more unlock points, levels alone really arent enough on single player since you have to unlock the trees instead of taking the 500 extra points

I was thinking in some thing like RE. You fine an undelivered cargo in some boxes and gain some UP delivering it. Some points too with satellites quests. Or some quests that give you UP. Maybe something like intelligence missions, or recover data caches in wreckages

should put in some sort of promethium and pentaxid extractors that pull from toxic environments. The more radiated the planet, the more yield.
